Strong “core” road depends on independent research and development

“The success of the product is to accept the detection of the market. The time node in production will force the research and development time. When the initial research and development encounters the problem, we always want to ask for help, but later I found that most of the road was walking. No. We can only rely on ourselves to face the difficulties and win it. “On the road to strengthening the national chip, Liang Jun believes that we must develop independently.

In 2008, at that time, televisions with high definition and large size in China at that time, but in the chip field, Europe and the United States have been leading. There are no corresponding chips in China, and all rely on imports. Liang Jun received the task and was responsible for the conversion project of the bidding chip to the high -definition chip -the first high -definition satellite receiving module chip of the design and development company.

Behind this project is a problem that solves the speed of data operation. The original design is no longer suitable for the current high -speed operation, and it must be settled immediately. What Liang Jun and his team must do not only design similar domestic chips, but also to achieve lower costs on the basis of ensuring performance.

Liang Jun admits that because of the lack of technical reserves and research and development experience in this field, the company originally wanted to seek external cooperation, but because of performance and security problems, cooperation failed.

Liang Jun and the team decided to develop independently, but this means huge risks. The project failure will not only consume millions of scientific research costs, but also cause the product to disconnect and lose the favorable opportunity to occupy the market.

For this project, Liang Jun and the team boldly tried and error, carefully verified, and continuously designed and adjusted the circuit between the square inches. After more than a year of hard work, in 2009, it developed the first domestic high -definition satellite receiving machine chip. Under the same performance, it was nearly 30 % cheaper than foreign chips. It was welcomed by the market as soon as it came out. At the same time, the chip has achieved state -owned replacement of imported chips in the field of high -definition satellite receiving machines.

For the “Village Village” and “Households” project, Liang Jun hosted HD high -definition satellite digital TV chip GX6605s, which was designed in 2015 to quickly occupy the market with complete independent intellectual property rights. The latest data shows that the sales of this type of chip by over 20 million by 2021 alone, the international market share is far ahead. As of now, the sales of all digital TV chips of “Hangzhou Guoxin” have accumulated more than 300 million pieces.

In the 20 years of employment, Liang Jun has become more and more deeply realized that in addition to taking the road of independent research and development, strengthening national chips must continue to innovate. Only by continuous innovation can we catch up and surpass.

The magic of the chip is that the size of the nail cap contains tens of millions or even hundreds of millions of transistors. The more advanced the process, the more the number. “The difficulty of chip design is that hundreds of millions of circuits are integrated between square inches, and it is inevitable to interfere with each other. Whether it can overcome interference is the key to breakthroughs.” Liang Jun has his own understanding of research and development. “The same is true of solving problems. Only by understanding the nature of the problem can we find our own innovation points.”

Liang Jun’s innovation point is to work hard on key technologies. He spent 3 years that broke the difficulty of the design of 0.18 micron chips in 3 years, and used 10 years to fully master the key technologies of 40 nanometers. In 2020, the Liangjun team broke through the 22 -nanometer technical gate in one fell swoop and controlled the design capabilities of various integrated circuit processes from 0.18 microns to 22 nanometers.

In 2018, in order to respond to the call of the country’s promotion of electronic detonators, Liang Jun led the team to go to the mining and drilling tunnel during the day to ask the first -line artillery elder brother to explode knowledge. In the evening, simulation scenes and optimization plans were designed to design independent intellectual property rights in the evening. High -precision electronic detonator chip, the product greatly improves the safety and controllability of blasting operations. In recent years, Liang Jun devoted himself to research and development. He has obtained a total of 12 invention patents, 6 practical new patents, 17 integrated circuits, and 1 software.

In the eyes of Liang Jun, the country has vigorously promoted the digital economy in recent years, and the development of chips is right. He made a request for himself: to contribute all his strength to strengthening national chips and developing China’s semiconductor cause.
